“Égyptienne Ailée” (“Winged Egyptian Woman”), 1925

This piece carries Bonnot’s signature as the designer. Bonnot frequently fabricated under his own brand, Specialités Armancel, which also created other luxury automotive fittings like porte-bouquets (small vases for fresh flowers). Unlike many of the artists represented in these cases, Bonnot does not appear as an exhibitor in the contemporary Parisian Salons of the French art establishment.
