Review the following guidelines to make the most of your visit to Revs Institute in Naples, Florida. We look forward to your visit.
Visitors should plan for 1.5—2 hours to experience each gallery in its entirety. The last available appointment each day is at 2:00 pm and the museum closes at 4 pm. Purchase of admission implies consent by visitors to be photographed, and for visitors’ likeness to be used in Revs Institute’s promotional materials without compensation or further consent.
Our collections are stored at a consistent and controlled temperature and relative humidity. Most visitors find the temperature refreshing, but if you are easily chilled, we recommend long pants, sweaters, or other appropriate attire for a cool indoor climate.

All visitors and groups enter and exit by the double glass doors at the front of the building, accessible by the brick walkways from each parking lot. Revs Institute is a fully accessible facility, with ground-level entry and an elevator available to the upper levels. Handicapped parking is provided in both lots, and two wheelchairs are available for tours if needed.
Some vehicles will not be in the galleries because of maintenance, restoration, or exhibition elsewhere. View weekly display update.
Each automobile on display at the Revs Institute is of considerable historic importance — a valuable artifact and an irreplaceable object of art. To maximize your enjoyment and understanding of the motorcar collection, there are no ropes barring you from the exhibits, but please do not touch any cars or exhibit materials (placards, cases) and we ask that you remain at least one foot away from the automobiles on display at all times. We depend on our guests to exercise appropriate behavior and thank you in advance for reviewing and adhering to our policies and procedures.
Visitor policies are carefully established to provide a balance between the best experience for all visitors while protecting the Museum facility and the artifacts contained within the various collections. The Museum reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse admission or to remove anyone whose conduct is in violation of our policies and procedures, is disruptive or intrusive to our other guests, or jeopardizes the safety of any of the collections, artifacts and/or other guests. Please review our visitor guidelines for more information.
There are over 240 examples of automotive mascots in the collection. This is Coiled Serpent, from 1930 by Desmo, a well-known British motor accessory company. Although animals were common inspirations for automotive mascot designers, the serpent is somewhat unique.
