“Le Chat Botté” (“Puss in Boots”)
This charming, swaggering presentation of the classic tale is notable for the naturalistic details that were later eliminated by Art Deco and cubism. Bofill was a Spanish-born artist working in Paris as early as 1906.
The Columbia Three-Track Tricycle cost $160 in 1883 and was the first to offer a “differential drive” gear that permitted both wheels to be driven equally and for ease of rounding corners.
