Revs Institute brings the Targa Florio-winning Porsche RS-60 to the inaugural F.A.T. International Ice Race in Aspen

This February, F.A.T. International and Ferdinand Porsche brought a taste of Zell-am-See to the Rockies.

At the inaugural F.A.T. Ice Race in Aspen, car lovers and gear heads descended on a snow-covered field to watch some incredible driving and celebrate automotive legacy. Revs Institute sent the Miles Collier Collections’ 1960 Porsche RS-60: yes, the very car that won the 1960 Targa Florio.

The Colorado slopes are a far cry from the dusty roads of Sicily, but the RS-60 would be in good company, joining two other Spyders from Porsche’s winning history. At the wheel was Porsche collector and Pikes Peak champion Jeff Zwart, who was later joined by ANDIAL co-founder Dieter Inzenhofer in the passenger seat.

We hope this exciting mix of old and new historic racers piqued the interest of fans in person (and online), encouraging them to learn more about keeping meaningful cars active in the world.
