The 2014 Lime Rock Historic Festival 32

This Labor Day weekend, Revs Institute for Automotive Research is participating in the Lime Rock Historic Festival in Lakeville, Connecticut. Our very own, Scott George, will be a judge at the Sunday in the Park Concours presented by Bentley.

Stop by the paddock and say hi while you are checking out our 1964 Abarth Simca and 1970 Fiat Abarth TC-R formerly owned and raced by Alfred S. Cosentino who had an impressive 34 of 35 consecutive wins in national races. These two cars will actually be racing.

Competing in the Concours is our 1934 MG K3 Magnette, which is rare in its own right with only a few more than 30 cars ever being produced. We will also have our 1935 MG PA/PB nicknamed “Leonidis” which has been called the most famous prewar MG in America. And last, but surely not least, how about the world’s most famous racing OSCA? Our 1954 OSCA MT-4 1500CC Sports Racer will also be on hand. Once owned by Briggs Cunningham, this OSCA won the 1954 12 Hours of Sebring outright with Stirling Moss and Bill Lloyd at the wheel.
