GENERAL INFORMATION

1) What are the museum’s hours of operation?

  •  The museum is open three days a week: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We are closed on major holidays, including New Year’s Day, Memorial Day,     Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, and the Day after, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. 

2) Where is Revs Institute located? 

  •  We are at 2500 S. Horseshoe Drive in Naples, Florida, just north of Naples Airport and west of Airport–Pulling Road. For detailed directions, please visit our website: Directions. 

3) How do I purchase tickets? 

  •  Tickets can be purchased online through our website – click here for pricing and ordering: Tickets. Tickets must be purchased in advance due to limited capacity 

4) How much time should I allow to see all the cars in the museum if I bought a general admission ticket? 

  •  The average time for a self-guided visit (General Admission) is approximately 90 minutes. Some visitors spend 3 to 4 hours exploring the galleries, but please note that we close promptly at 4:00   PM. 

5) Is there a discount for students, seniors, or military personnel? 

  •  Yes, we offer a $5 discount for students, educators, and military personnel (both Active and Veterans.)  We do not offer a senior citizen discount. 

6) Are guided tours available? 

  •  Yes, we offer guided tours (Docent-Led Tours) that can be booked online: Tours. Our standard Docent Tour lasts approximately two hours, while our Docent Tours with Workshop Walkthrough,       which include access to our restoration area, last about two hours and fifteen minutes. For private or group tours, please contact us in advance. 

7) Is it cold in the museum? 

  •  The museum is kept cool with low humidity, so we recommend bringing a jacket. 

8) Is photography allowed in the museum? 

  •  Photography for personal use is permitted, but flash photography, tripods, monopods, video recording, and streaming are prohibited. For commercial photography or filming, please contact us for   permission. All photography in our restoration / workshop area is prohibited. 

9) Can I bring my children to the museum?

  •  Yes, children are welcome. However, all children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The Docent Tour is for children 9 years of age and older.  

10) Are pets allowed in the museum? 

  •  Pets are not permitted, except for service animals specifically trained to assist individuals with disabilities. Emotional support animals are not permitted. 

11) Do you allow backpacks into the museum? 

  •  Large bags and backpacks are prohibited. 

VISITOR AMENITIES 

1) Is there parking available? 

  •  Yes, we provide free on-site parking for museum visitors. Overflow parking is available in a grass lot adjacent to the institute.  

2) Are food and drinks allowed in the museum? Do you have a café? 

  • We do not have an on-site café. Outside food and drinks are not permitted in the museum, except for bottled water. We sell bottled water, but we do not offer any food, beverages, or snacks. We also offer complimentary water bottle filling stations. 

3) Is the museum accessible for visitors with disabilities?

  • The museum is fully accessible, with ramps, elevators, and accessible restrooms available. We also offer two complimentary wheelchairs on a first-come, first-served basis. 

4) Can I rent the museum for private functions/events? 

  • Yes, Revs Institute offers facility rentals for private functions and corporate events. Please contact our Guest Services Team at 239-687-7387 or [email protected] for more information. 

5) How can I stay informed about upcoming exhibits and events?

6) Is there a gift shop? 

  • Yes, our Museum Store offers a wide selection of automotive-themed merchandise, including books, models, apparel, and souvenirs. The store is open during regular museum hours. 

7) Am I able to visit the Museum Store without purchasing a ticket? 

  • Yes, you can shop in our museum store without purchasing a ticket by contacting the Admissions Desk at 239-687-7387 or check in at the front door on days we are open to the public. You may also purchase items from our online store: Museum Store. 

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS 

 1)  Does the museum offer educational programs? 

  • Yes, we offer a variety of adult and teen RevsEd Automotive educational programs.  Check our website or contact the RevsEd Education Department for details. We also accommodate school field trips upon request, contact [email protected] or call 239-687-7387. 

2) Do you offer internships or volunteer opportunities? 

  • Yes, we offer limited internships for students interested in automotive history, museum studies, or conservation. We also have a robust volunteer program for individuals who want to support the museum. Visit our website for more information on how to apply. 

MEMBERSHIP AND DONATIONS 

 1)  Do you offer memberships to the Museum (NARM memberships)? 

  • We currently do not offer an exclusive Revs Institute Museum membership; however, we do welcome NARM membersWe honor NARM reciprocity for General Admission tickets from April 2nd – December 14th, which is limited to a maximum of 4 (four) persons per household. Proof of membership is required, and tickets must be reserved by calling 239-687-7387. 

2) Can I donate or loan a vehicle or donate other automotive artifacts to the museum? 

  • Yes, we welcome offers to loan vehicles or donate vehicles and other automotive artifacts, as we are an automotive research and preservation institution. To submit a request for review and consideration, please contact our Curator of Collections at [email protected]. Be sure to include as much detail as possible. 

3) Is my donation tax-deductible? 

  • Yes, Revs Institute is a registered 501 (c) (3) notforprofit organization, and donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. You will receive a letter acknowledging your donation for tax purposes.
